Starting female wrestling as a sport will be fantastic, empowering and rewarding. Getting stated is easier than you think. Here are some essential things you need to know when it comes to female wrestling:

1. Training and Conditioning

Wrestling requires strength, agility, and endurance. Focus on building your strength, improving your flexibility, and increasing your cardiovascular fitness through regular training and conditioning exercises.
Exercise frequently, go on walks, runs, use jump ropes and maybe even lift some weights. This way you can easily toss around your opponent.

Here's where champions are made. Here's where you'll make the crucial decision of getting back up when you fall. Remember, "there's always a bigger fish" and you're not the bigger fish. This doesn't mean that the smaller fish can't take on the bigger fish. What this means is that you should never be to confident walking into the ring.

A strong mind will get you further than you think. You will fail when you think it, but you will also win when you know it to be true.

Proper nutrition and hydration are essential for optimal performance in wrestling. Maintain a balanced diet, stay hydrated, and fuel your body with the nutrients it needs to support your training and competition.
When you start wrestling, your body needs nutrition and hydration than it normally needs. If you feel thirsty drink, if you feel hungry eat.

Surround yourself with a supportive network of coaches, teammates, and friends who can encourage you, provide guidance, and help you stay motivated on your wrestling journey.
It's easy fro people to dismiss something they're not a part off. Always keep in mind, that if someone doesn't understand your passion or your goals, it doesn't mean you shouldn't pursue them. Your goals and your passions are for you to achieve and enjoy.

9. Respect and Sportsmanship

Embrace the values of respect and sportsmanship in wrestling. Treat your opponents, coaches, officials, and fellow wrestlers with respect both on and off the mat. Remember that wrestling is a sport that values integrity and fair play.
